Product Description

This Geiger Muller Tube Holder with TNC plug is designed for safe, reliable detection of alpha, beta and gamma radiation in school science labs. It’s perfect for supporting GCSE and A-level physics topics such as radioactive decay and half-life.

Fitted with a 1 metre flying lead and holding the industry-standard ZP1481 GM tube, the unit features a large-area detection window for accurate results. Built to operate at 440V, it meets CLEAPSS GL138 guidelines and includes a 2M2 high-ohmic resistor to extend tube life and ensure compatibility with most counters and scalers.

A removable protective grill allows for low-level contamination experiments, while the included fixing rod enables mounting to a retort stand for hands-free use.
